​Jenefer Palmer is the founder OSEA, a pioneering clean beauty brand established in 1996. With over 35 years of experience in the spa industry and in the formulation and development of natural beauty products, Palmer has been at the forefront of integrating seaweed-based ingredients into skincare. Her journey into the field was inspired by her grandmother, Elsa Reuschle, whose belief in the healing power of the ocean greatly influenced Palmer's approach to skincare.

​Palmer's career began in diverse fields, including archaeology and various healing arts, before she became the Spa Director at Murrieta Hot Springs. Frustrated by the lack of effective natural skincare products, she began creating her own formulations, combining essential oils and seaweed to develop what would become OSEA's signature products. Under her leadership, OSEA has remained committed to sustainability, using glass containers and focusing on vegan and cruelty-free ingredients from the outset​.
