In this hands-on workshop, Sarina Virk Torrendell reveals the lean go-to-market strategies that took her from early employee at Postmates to scaling global initiatives at Apple, Meta, and Amazon. You'll learn how to build traction before and after launch, choose the right distribution channels for your business model, and create feedback loops that turn early customers into your most powerful growth engine. 

We'll dive into:
  • Pre-launch vs. post-launch traction strategies: building waitlists, partnerships, and early momentum
  • Choosing between product-led, sales-led, and community-led growth based on your market and resources
  • Setting up feedback loops that turn customer insights into competitive advantages
  • Mapping your customer journey to identify the highest-impact conversion opportunities
  • Aligning your positioning and channels with how your customers actually discover and buy solutions
At the end of this session, Sarina will guide you through creating your personalized go-to-market plan that maps exactly how you'll attract, convert, and retain customers. You'll spend 30-45 minutes building your strategy live with her feedback and guidance, walking away with a clear roadmap for growth.

About Sarina Virk Torrendell
Sarina Virk Torrendell joined Postmates as one of its earliest employees, building the market expansion strategy that scaled the company from a single San Francisco location to nationwide presence across major cities including Seattle, New York, and DC. Her go-to-market playbook helped drive Postmates to its $2.65 billion acquisition by Uber. She later returned as Head of Retail Partnerships and GM of New Categories, where she launched and scaled entirely new business verticals including alcohol and grocery delivery that became major revenue drivers for the company.

Sarina has since brought her market-building expertise to Fortune 100 companies including Apple, Meta, and Amazon, where she leads global partnership and product marketing initiatives. She hosts the Career Memos podcast, interviewing founders and leaders from companies like Hims & Hers, Native, and Shopify, and advises growth-stage startups on scaling their go-to-market strategies.
