Building in health and wellness often means operating in a category you were never trained for. The founders breaking through right now aren't necessarily the ones with medical degrees or a warm investor network, they're the ones closest to the problem, willing to build scrappy, and patient enough to earn trust one believer at a time.

Join us for a conversation with Julia Cheek, Founder & CEO of Everlywell, the at-home lab testing company that has grown into a unicorn brand and raised more than $200 million since 2015. Julia built her earliest team not with full time hires but with contractors and part time experts, and raised her first capital from a small group of doctors and early believers who understood the problem she was solving before anyone else did.

In this session, we'll break down how Julia turned a personal health crisis, an unconventional team, and one early round of belief into one of the fastest-growing health companies in the country.

In this session, you'll learn:

  • How to build credibility in health and wellness when you're not the industry expert
  • How to raise your first capital without a warm investor network
  • How to build your earliest team without full time hires
  • What it actually takes to earn trust in a category where credibility is the product
  • How to know when a single big moment is worth betting everything on
  • How to keep your original mission intact as the business scales past you

Whether you're pre-launch or already building your first team, this conversation will leave you with a clearer sense of what it actually takes to build capital, trust, and momentum in health and wellness.
