FFC is coming to Austin!
Most consumer brands don’t fail because of the product. They fall flat because they don't stand out or grab the attention of their target audience. In a crowded market, the brands that break through are the ones with a clear story, a point of view, and the instinct to show up where people least expect them.
Kim Chappell has built that kind of brand. As Chief Brand Officer of Bobbie, she helped take a direct-to-consumer formula subscription to more than $100M in revenue in about a year and a half. She also helped bring the brand onto shelves at Target, Whole Foods, Walmart, and Costco, and earn a spot on TIME’s 100 Most Influential Companies list. Along the way, she led campaigns with Naomi Osaka, Cardi B, Molly Baz, and everyday moms that got people talking about paid leave, postpartum support, and feeding without shame.
In a one-on-one conversation moderated by Female Founder Collective's CEO and Co-Founder Alison Wyatt, Kim will break down the strategies behind Bobbie’s brand and how you can adapt them at your stage and budget.
You’ll learn how to:
- Tell a founder and customer story that makes people feel seen and builds trust faster than ads can
- Develop creative partnerships with brands, creators, and your own customers that get attention without a celebrity budget
- Create cultural moments around what your brand stands for, and get people talking
- Treat brand as a growth engine, and decide where to put your first marketing dollars
- Keep your brand voice strong as you move from direct-to-consumer into retail
- Position a brand depending on sales channel
You’ll leave with tactical information for building a brand people notice, remember, and choose, plus a room full of founders and operators who are building alongside you.
